Quote of the Day

Seen on a plaque on a building in Old Hangtown (Placerville), CA:

On this site in 1897, absolutely nothing happened.

And for those looking for a good Catholic quote for the day:

Christians must lean on the Cross of Christ just as travelers lean on a staff when they begin a long journey. - St. Anthony de Padua

Blessings and Peace,
Dean

Leaning on the Cross of Christ; so that is what we do; making it heavier. And then we have the nerve to say 'mine is tooooo heavy, so please give me a lighter one' ... or 'better yet, help me carry it'. Actually, HE often carries us, as we carry our cross, thus making things heavier for us humans. And although HE took on the humanniss of GOD's creatures ... HIS Divinity kept HIM forever faithful; always.
