Quote of the Day

Christ be with me, Christ within me, Christ behind me, Christ before me, Christ beside me, Christ to win me, Christ to comfort me and restore me, Christ beneath me, Christ above me, Christ in quiet, Christ in danger, Christ in hearts of all that love me, Christ in mouth of friend and stranger. -- St. Patrick

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I miss typing on this thing... I should return to regular posting after next week...

Pax Christi,
Dean

What does 'Pax' mean? It has been 54 years since I last studied Latin. One of our Broussard cousins signs 'Pax Diem'; and because I know that Christi is Christ ... and Diem is so close to Dieu (GOD in French) ... I just guessed that is that word.
I read this prayer some times in Chruch ... so I can keep my head bowed through it all; because imagine the 'vertigo' effect of knodding each time I say Christ.
You do not have to post this; just answer me privately, if you wish.

Well, I answered this in email, but figured I would on here too if anyone was wondering. :)

Pax is latin for peace. So Pax Christi means the peace of Christ, as in "the peace of Christ be with you."
